Carol is a long-time explorer of the body-mind connection through bodywork, music, and movement. In 1975, she studied Sensory Awareness with Betty Keane. Carol found that the mind and body are inseparable, when Sensory awarenesses physical exercises caused her to experience emotional releases.

Carol’s singing and work with her own injuries drew her to investigate healing work further. She completed a 200 hour Associate Polarity Course at the Open Center in NYC. With the Ultrasonic Core Group of Long Island and New York City, she earned a Registered Polarity Practitioner Certificate (675 hours) and took an additional 250 hours of Advanced Craniosacral Balancing. Carol studied massage, advanced anatomy and shiatsu at the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in New Jersey and is a licensed massage therapist in New York State. She has completed Level II of the Upledger Institute’s craniosacral classes.

In addition, Carol studied Iyengar and Hatha yoga and completed extensive work with Alan Seale on chakra awareness and intuitive development.

As a singer and music teacher, Carol helps her audiences and students tune into their own expressive abilities.
